Sexual Energy Cultivation and Self-Healing for Men and Women
“Healing Love” is the overall teaching of sexual energy cultivation. When this course is specifically taught to women, it is referred to as “Female Healing,” and when it is taught to men, it is called “Men’s Health.”
Healing Love focuses on energy cultivation meditations and physical exercises that benefit women and men of all ages and life stages. In addition to being an energizing and spiritual practice, these practices result in improved vitality, health, well-being, sexuality and fertility.
In the Tao, we believe that we are all born with original or lifeforce energy (Jing) and much of this energy is stored within our sexual organs as well as the kidneys, the organs connected to sexuality. This is the energy that has created us and the energy that connects our physical body to our soul. When there is no more lifeforce energy left in the body, our soul separates from the physical body and we die.
As we move through life, we lose this original force. Women primarily lose this energy through menstruation and childbearing, and men lose this energy through ejaculation. Through the Healing Love practices, we’re able to cultivate more of this original force as well as learn how to conserve and store it in the body.
For women, the practices help to balance hormones, normalize cycles, relieve menstrual or menopausal symptoms and enhance sexual pleasure. The Female Healing exercises have also been regarded as a natural cosmetic for women known to develop inner beauty that shines through as outer radiance.
For men, the practices teach how to harness and guide sexual energy, including controlling ejaculation to become multi-orgasmic, and the practices also support prostate and male sexual organ health.
After a Healing Love course, participants generally feel rejuvenated, refreshed and energetic. With this achievement of a higher state of well-being, we naturally gain an increased understanding of our spiritual nature.
The Female Healing Practices
In the Female Healing courses, we will combine several foundational Universal Healing Tao meditations and exercises with the Healing Love practices. The foundational Taoist practices provide an introduction to beginners and focus on further connecting with yourself, your emotions and your physical body to allow energy to flow freely and self-healing to take place.
The Female Healing practices to cultivate and enhance sexual energy include Ovarian Breathing, Breast Massage, Egg Exercise and the Orgasmic Upward Draw.
Here’s a summary of all the practices we generally cover in the Female Healing courses.
Inner Smile Meditation
This meditation is the starting point before beginning Healing Love practices or exercises. You begin this meditation by tuning into your heart and the positive virtues of love, joy, happiness and gratefulness. You multiply these feelings in your heart while smiling down into your organ. From there, you move forward in the meditation by sending this loving, smiling energy to each of your four other organs and you tune into each organ and the associated positive virtues.
The simple act of focusing on a smile this way calms the autonomic nervous system and revitalizes the internal organs by increasing the flow of blood and chi.
Ovarian Breathing, Breast Massage & Orgasmic Upward Draw
After activating the emotions of love, joy and happiness through the practice of the Inner Smile meditation, you can begin the Female Healing practices of Ovarian Breathing, Breast Massage or the Orgasmic Upward Draw.
Ovarian breathing is the practice of activating your ovarian energy and guiding your sexual energy along the spinal cord up to the brain. It’s a powerful, energizing and spiritual meditative practice that can also be combined with breast massage for an enhanced effect.
The breasts are a lymphatic system and should be massaged in order to release tension and static accumulation of tissue to allow energy to flow freely. Breasts are also connected to all of our hormone producing glands, and in a meditative practice, we can activate the sexual energy in our breasts and send this energy to our glands for a balancing effect.
In the Orgasmic Upward Draw meditation, we focus on using aroused energy to activate all the energy centers in the body resulting in an energizing, relaxing and balancing feeling.
Redirecting and circulating our generative force to higher centers of the body invigorates and rejuvenates all the vital functions. This is a necessary step for our spiritual development in the higher practices of the Taoist internal alchemy.
Egg Exercise
Exercise with a jade or stone egg is used to strengthen the urogenital and pelvic diaphragm, the muscles and glands of the vagina, tendons and nervous system. The practice can balance and shorten menstruation, reduce cramps and guide more life force energy (Chi) into the ovaries and all hormone producing glands.
The stone egg exercise originally evolved in ancient China, and it is noted that many who mastered the technique experienced heightened well-being, remaining young and bountiful with sexual organs in older age.
Controlling the voluntary vaginal muscle with the egg practice allows you to gain control of many involuntary muscles in this area as well, so you strengthen and tighten the entire region. As you master the use of this muscle of the vagina and perineum, you also simultaneously tone up the lower abdomen.
Overall, your performance of Ovarian Breathing, the Orgasmic Upward Draw and the Organs’ Orgasm greatly improves and the flow of sexual hormones increase.
It is important to note that while we practice the Egg Exercise in the course all participants have a secure and comfortable environment to do the exercise in their own privacy.
Opening the Microcosmic Orbit
The Microcosmic Orbit is a spiritual Chi Kung practice that opens the body and meridian pathways by moving Chi in the Governor and Functional channels. Moving this orbit draws more Chi from the Universe into these particular channels. The Microcosmic Orbit is a foundational Universal Healing Tao meditation and can be used for medical and health purposes as well as for spiritual purposes. As energy opens in the body, it is natural for physical vitality to increase along with spiritual insight.
Six Healing Sounds
In the Tao, we believe there are positive virtues and negative emotions associated with each of our six organ systems. Generally, we are conditioned by society to suppress negativity and negative emotions, and we then store this negativity in our respective organs.
In the Six Healing Sounds meditation, you look within each of your six organ systems and transform negative emotions into positive virtues and train your mind and body to forgive, forget and let go.
Iron Shirt Chi Kung I
The strength and vitality of your internal organs are the real keys to the overall health of your body. Through certain standing postures, muscle locks and breathing techniques in Iron Shirt Chi Kung, we learn to direct internal power to the organs, the twelve tendon channels and the connective tissues. By directing more energy into your internal organs, you can perfect your body, increase performance, fight disease, and lay the groundwork for higher spiritual development.
Iron Shirt Chi Kung is an energizing and strengthening exercise that compliments the Healing Love practices.
